Ranking up three times in one match

I have been Corporal for like a month, wonderinf why I haven't ranked. I play my first game of BF2 SF and I ranked to Sargent in one game. Has this happened to anyone else? WHy is it happening? I'm not complaing, just wondering if it was a mistake and I will log in one day and be demoted. Thanks for any info..

Well they changed the ranking system a few patches ago so the requirements are much lower now. So just killing a few peopel updates teh stats and you get to the rank you are supposed to be now.

Its not a bug.

I may have....I just downloaded new patch last night. Each kill I got levled me up...it was nice surprise. I was doing a lot of killing and flag capturing B4 with no ranking. I am just happt to have the powerful sniper rifle now. Already killed my first apache pilot :)
