Slow your roll. Only thing I can think of. I've had it happen to me as well. But I slow down and take my time with it. It hasn't happened since. So...GL with this.

Sorry, but it doesn't always happen. You name it, I've been in that situation with C4 and I've never had any problems - toss, right click, left click, BOOM -- it doesn't get much simpler than that.

Well you're one of the lucky few Rafter, whats the system you play on? what kind of connection? do you play on several servers or do you stick to a particular one?

It happens to me every time.

Me damn too. And it ****es me off even though it's just a game. And it usually only happens when I'm in position to get 4+ kills but instead I'M the one who gets killed while "fiddling around" with the freaking detonator. It's a shame.

Guys, it has nothing to do with RAM, videocards, medals or the expansion pack. It's a visual glitch that has been around since the demo.

HOWEVER, it is ONLY a visual glitch. Next time you are in a game, try this: Throw a pack of C4, and immediately right-click (to switch to detonator) and then immediately left-click (to detonate). Even though the animation will show you throwing another pack of C4, it is only a VISUAL glitch! The original C4 that you threw will blow up, and the second pack that it threw (by a glitch) will disappear.

Somone already mentioned this earlier in the thread, but everyone still seems to be confused, so I figured I'd set the record straight. :)
