    v1.12 unofficial change log

Let's get a list going of what was changed in v1.12 but has not been documented anywhere. Why do they DO this??? Why don't they just TELL us what has been changed instead of keeping us guessing.

    Oh well...Let's start compiling.

(and remember..these are UNofficial and forum user submitted but I'll try to verify as many as I can)

    So far:

    -m95 crosshair improvement
-slight 'video effect' distortion added to TV guided viewscreen
-added 'Squad X has requested X' text in Commander first person view
-prefix now shows up on login screen rather than being blank
    -BFHQ progress bar fixed
-more precise commander asset targeting without being fully zoomed
-Tunguska tracer trajectory seems more centered (?)
-tank coaxial guns fire from off-center
    -TV missile range increased (?)

Talus can you keep your first post updated with the replies please? :)

      BFHQ progress bar fixed.

The zoom in the Commander mode *seems* to be fixed (I can drop supplies where there are supposed to be dropped without having to zoom in fully first)

Prefix box now shows current prefix

Yeah, I noticed the Prefix and progress bar thing too but completely forgot about it.

        thanks!

And, yes, I'll keep the list updated.

Tunguska fires center down the crosshairs instead of rounds travelling side by side from each cannon

I just checked this out and the cannons STILL fire alternating between the left and right barrels resulting in 2 bullet paths but the tracers DO appear more centered and with less deviation.

the chopper tv missile screen kinda squiggles now. it's a bit clearer though. tv missile range before it self-detonates has also been increased.

if we go back to the number of patch , we wil find 1.00 , 1.01 , .1.02 , 1.03
and this is 1.12 not 1.04
that is mean , there are make alot of fixes but on the other hand they made few fixes

Mr.Arabian, the patch wasn't released to fix bugs but for other reasons. We're just trying to list everything that the changelog.txt didn't include.

Yes...in their list of changes there's only 1 that applies to BF:2, all the rest are to fix SF bugs that we didn't even know existed (!) while in fact they amde several changes to BF2 that aren't in the list.

Nope, the coax fired exactly along the crosshair axis, I checked this on the Abrams. Funny thing is that the crosshair axis is on the left of the main gun, while the coax MG is on the right side, which means that the bullets don´t actually come out of the coax mg (that´s just animation), but from the position you´re in as a gunner (in 1.03, that is. Haven´t checked 1.12).
