Spiderman Zip Lining

Ok, I dont know if anybody else has really been doing this. But on some maps all you gotta do is get on a crane or something and just shoot the zip line at a roof and than shoot it at another roof. You hop roof to roof and you can get to some of the craziest spots on the map. So fun just going from one flag with a zip line all the way over to the other one; than having your squad of 5 guys come along with you is even better.

If you spot a pesky zipliner zipping to your sniper spot, plant a claymore at the the end of the zipline. Then the fun begins..

Depends on the angle.

You could always use yours really quick then pick up the one the guy is on so he falls. (if that works)

I guess the terrain is full of hills and mountains then if SF? Is there a limit as to where you can shoot your perfectly straight zip-line rope to?

I saw the title to this thread and I thought someone had already modded that thing to be like the grappling hook in the Chaos mod for Unreal Tournament. :p

You cant zipline up can you ? Like shot on a roof and climb up ?

Ziplines are for going down. Grappling hooks are for going up.

You can't zipline up, as far as I know.

only the special forces and the sniper has the ziplines, the hooks got everybody i thought

I tought you can only use the Zip line one time. At least I could not use more zip lines once I used the first one.

You can pick the zipline back up by using the pick-up kit key.


As for which kits:
Spec Ops & Sniper = Zipline
Assault & Anti Tank = Grapple

^^ Yep, the pickup key is defaulted to G. As far as picking up the Grapple? Not sure, I tried to throw it over a tall roof last night and it came back down and I attempted to pick it back up with the G key and nothing ;/

Yes, lets please take a poll as what the next whores or 'noobs' as most people like to call them. So far we have noob toobers.

Whats next...

zipwhores = using the zipline to your advantage

Tear Noob = Using tear gas to blind your enemy, when they forget they can put a gask mask on with default being 8 key. However, it will still be your fault because you 'used' a weapon that is drastic.

Hook Noob = Using your Grapple hook to get on top of buildings giving you a bird eye view. You will be marked... 'ahh, you have to be a bird noob'
