high and low sound

when i play BF2 i dont notice it since i have it loud

but when listening to music not so loud, i notice some times it sounds low and jumps back to louder than what i had...and its realy annoying...driver problem, or do i need a new sound card?

i think it might be my speakers, because with my headphones it wouldnt happend, they were good 2.1 100w creative speakers, i got em for $80 after rebates and stuff, any know of any good 2.1 good but cheap speakers?

it is most likely the music itself as different files are encoded at different rate and volume levels. Not much you can do about it. I doubt its the speakers.

Well what sound card do you have ?
If its Integrated then dont expect it to be crystal clear...

in my specs, the Gamer Edition, and my music i got ripped them from my cds all under mp3 settings, took me a whole day to finish lol...but it only happends when i turn it up on the lil remote, its the I-Trigue L3500 speakers
