High Pings with new patch

I've had this problem before... and I forgot how I solved it. I have a high ping every time I log into the server and they game play is choppy...

So far I have...

1. Updated my PB files
2. Cleared the Cache files (graphics)
3. Tested my internet connection speed
4. Ran Disk Defragmenter

I guess I may have to wait a day to see if my ping will drop back down to normal.... Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix it?

My stats

AMD 64 3000 (200 x10)
BFG NVIDIA 6800 OC graphics card
2 GB of RAM

errr... I thought I would answer my own question....

Well, I fixed the problem... I had to go back into McAffee Security Center and give BF2 access again... now, my pings are back to normal....
