a little bit before sf is almost halfway installed i get a error message saying install failed restart from the beginning........am i alone with this or is anyone else getting this problem?

Did you already dl'd the 1.12 patch before installing SF?
I was running the 1.03 and installed SF with no problems. However, I could only play single player as no servers showed up. I am now downloading the 280mb 1.12 patch from EA. Hopefully that will install smoothly, but I've seen some horror stories here so far. -

Hey Failedminus, I have just had the same prob recently. I had installed SF many times with no problem, but now for some reason I get the same error. I dont know if its because of the 1.13 patch, or because I changed the default location of BF2 Install, as that its on a backup external drive. Beats me mate. Im gonna try and repatch to 1.12. It all seemed to work back then.

Try uninstalling the EA downloader ,this normally fixes the problem,then reinstall log in with your account details and it should be ok.Comment
