issit just me, or is there only like 10 bf:sf servers and all of them are high pinging constantly?

Give it a few days, or a week. Most of those servers are euro since i think they got the game a few days earlier than we did and the game just came out in the us today, so not that many people even have it, yet have a server up for it.
