beta testing?

Am i a god damn EA beta tester??, bcoz thats how i feel.., i cant get it to load to save my life, damn memory sanity checks or it just bombs out.

My pc is well over spec, so whats the damn problem... not another damn xp reinstall.

I AM NOT A HAPPY BUNNY.

I did however mange to get a coupla shots of the BFHQ, which is the only ****ing thing that works....

Hi. This must be your first encounter with EA. You might be a little sore in the posterior region, especially having forked over money for an obviously unfinished product. All I can suggest is that you sit on some ice for a while and be wary of anything bearing the EA logo.

BF2 was the straw that broke the camel's back. Unfortunately, some people think their camels can take a little bit more beating.

Think of it this way. If EA/DICE did beta-testing the proper way it would cost too much(for them because they are cheap). However if they have us consumers test it for them they make money beta-testing!! Also they can just patch it! Then that patch needs patching.........it never ends.

no, they don't let the consumers test it ether, because testing would mean they will repair the bugs after some time, only thing they did untill now with some patches who are very rare is changing things nowbody asked for and solve some bugs nowbody cared for

lol, the first time I loaded SF, it literally took 20 minutes to load a map...on singleplayer, and then while it finished loading, it crashed to my desktop =(
Then in multiplayer, it was even worse, even with the lowest settings possible, the map took and average of 5-10 minutes to load, and then the lag...oh the lag...

the vanilla bf2 seems to be doing fine, though...

LOL, yeah yeah, but i was tired and ****ed off with it not working, anyway, ive sorted all the crashing now and am happily zipping around the place.

I've gotta say this game is great at 1st glance.

you knew what happened with regular bf2 and how it still has tons of bugs, but yet you go out and buy the expansion?

they had to release a 230 mb patch just for SF!!

I'm always amazed at how many people hate EA and hate BF2, but yet still take the time play it and to come onto this discussion and bitch about it.

Sure the game is a little buggy (name me a game that isn't), but I have NEVER had any of the "major issues" most of you guys complain about.

But, yeah, I know, I'm just a fanboy noob and it's way more fun to bitch and cry than to actually think that it might have something to do with your computer.

I agree rafterman. I can't remember a game that ever released that didn't have some bugs to one extent or the other. Every game that has a forum will have a bunch of people hating on it. Most people that love the game don't even join forums. its the people with problems that want to join and bitch. Sure there are a lot of people that join that do like the game but we are usually the minority. Every forum I have ever joined because of a game that I like has been filled with the exact same posts as in this forum. About how buggy the game is (while I mainly play these games bug free...go figure) about how the dev team use us as beta testers, how they have to change every thing someone doesn't like or else the games is worthless...etc etc etc...never ending bitching from people that no matter what are never EVER satisfied. What I hate most abut hanging on these forums is all the bitching and crying.

I fire this game up and it plays every time, lag free and beautiful. I always have a good time playing. I really feel sorry for all the people that can't seem to enjoy this game because their heads are stuck too far up their ass's.

LOL. Every time a new game is released there is some........... person who goes on this "WTF am I a Beta tester" BS.

You know what? Most of the time the problems you are experiencing are YOUR FAULT. I had tons of problems with BF:V. I formatted and re-installed and it ran perfectly. Don't yell at EA or Dice till you completely eliminate everything that could be your fault first.
