1. What does it mean exactly if a server is a ranked server?

2. How come I've been working very hard but my progress to the next rank hasn't gone up? It's been many days now and it still isn't going up. :\

Ranked means that the points you gan while playing are counted towards stats/ranks/weapon unlocks.

The progress bar is broken but was fixed whth the patch that came out today.

If your points aren't going up then you are not playing on ranked servers.

I'll have to find out where that patch is...

and I have been playing on ranked servers as "ranked" is checked for the "internet filters" option.

Its not just a patch for the progress bar its a full update 280meg, get it from EA offical site.
