Patch to 1.12?

Do we need to install this patch, or is that installed when we install the game? (Special forces)

Also, am I to understand that we can use our SF goodies in normal bf2 games?

Can someone elaberate on this? Ziplines and all in normal games (with people who dont have the expansion?) Or only unlocked weapons?

Ok, I used to EA downloader, so I'm not sure if the 1.1 patch is on the CD/DVD or not. When I installed SF, it automatically patched the SF game to 1.1

Then, I had to download the 1.12 patch from EA, and install that patch. That way, you can play on both SF and BF2 servers.

I played SF for a few minutes, and after leaving, got 4 unlocks, and went to a regular BF2 server, and was able to use them there. Not sure about ziplines/grappling hooks, but the weapons are able to be used. You have to click your unlock button the way you normally do, but this time, you have to do it twice to select the new SF weapon.
