Will EA downloader have to be on?

    Will EA downloader have to be on?

    I searched the forum, but...

    If I buy VIA EA downloader, will EA downloader need to be on while I play and start up BF2:SF?

    (My 2 Gaming PCs can run tons of stuff at the same time, but my aging gaming laptop runs best with everything off.)

    Any information?

          I doubt it.

          Also not directly related to this, ive seen several people moan that with the Downloader you would need a constant net connection to start the games....

          Now i hope the realise that...

          A. you need one anyway to log into BF2 normaly
          B. its a MP game so same again.....

          Some poeple just dont think.
