Second unlock for same kit

So I got to choose 4 new unlocks that the SAS normally use, will I be able to use them in any game? If so, how do I select them? I can now only choose between the default weapons and the unlocks of the original. Anyone know how to select the expansion unlock?

All you have to do is click on the 'switch weapons' button (in the kit selector window) a second time and the new weapon will show up in its place. This works in BF2:SF and regular BF2.

I just spent a round on Karkand chucking Flashbangs all over the place - kinda funny because noone knows quite what to make of them. I'd run into the death alley at the first MEC flag and see a bunch of MEC facing the wall running in place - easy kills. The F2000 kit is going to be Very popular I predict. Sadly, for good or worse, Karkand will never play the same again.

Can you use zipline and grappling hook in regular BF2?
Now that would change Karkand!

All you have to do is click on the 'switch weapons' button (in the kit selector window) a second time and the new weapon will show up in its place. This works in BF2:SF and regular BF2.

I was just in Wake Island @ K play EA Server. I could see the "white image" of the new weapons. But couldn't spawn with them. How?

WOW.... I had no idea that the flash nades where going to make it over to vanilla BF:2 LOL.. Your right.. I can already hear the bitching about flash this and flash that in karkand.. yikes!

How did you unlock the new weapons?

Also can you use the new weapons for other armies such as Rebels,insurgents,spetsnaz etc in the new maps?

I must say I do like the idea of useing FB's against spawncampers.
However I do expect alot of: "Flashbangs are TOO OVER POWERED" and
Flashbang whore threads in the next week or so. People are still complaing about M203s and SRAW's/ERYX(noob toob). LOL somthing funny to think about. You can always call em "Noob-bangers".

So you can use the SF equipment in Vanilla BF2 !

That's just stupid and will ruin the original game completely. Since when did regular army have or use specialised weapons such as zip lines, flash bangs, and grappling irons, or tear gas for that matter. Such equipment are used by SF only as they have a need to use them rather than regulars.

Weapons unlocks being transferrable = good idea

Equipment transfers from SF into Vanilla BF2= farked up.

You can use the unlocked guns and the flashbangs in the normal BF2 maps.
You can not use the grappling hook, zipline, teargas, gasmask or nightvision.

hey i unlocked the second sniper rifle and the second SF weapon, but it will only let me choose between the first unlock and defalut weapon! how do i get the third weapon unlock to show up in the game?!

You can only use the SF guns in BF2 vallina, like so:

You cant use guns like the F2000, MP7, G36E on other teams than SAS when playing BF2:SF, so if you are MEC:SF you cant spawn with a F2000 or any other SF gun you may have unlocked;

G36E - Can only use on SAS when playing BF2:SF
FN2000 with GL - Can only use on SAS when playing BF2:SF
MG36 - Can only use on SAS when playing BF2:SF
MG36 - Can only use on SAS when playing BF2:SF
SCAR-L - Can only use on USMC when playing BF2:SF

You can use guns like F2000, MP7, G36E on any team when playing BF2 Vallina, hope this helps :)
