ok so basically if you have Special Forces, you just install it and then install the 1.12 patch....correct???

To be brutally honest, I'd rather have had a massive update/patch/fix to Battlefield2 than another XPack. I'm quite happy playing those maps than to have more added.

Just thought I'd add my opinion...

I've installed SF and the patch but now I can't connect to servers. Anyone else get that problem?

Since I've installed SF and the patch, it has been slightly more unstable.
I have more problems with Sf than I do with BF2.

I wish they would add the option to disable tooltips in the next patch.

I just reinstalled and now I have to listen to all that drivel again. Talk about annoying!
