Why is it that when i try and find a server that a friend and i can join togeather, even with the filters set exactly the same on both of our systems that we get hardly any servers showing up the same?.We spend the best part of a gaming evening trying to find a server that is showing on both screens and is not full/reserved slots etc.:hmm:

Sometimes the amount of servers that are displayed depend on the filters selected, though I imagine that you and your friend have the same selected.
Prob not the answer you wanted but using BF2 ingame browser to share server addresses with friends isn't the best path to take.
Either you both install Xfire to share the info easily. Or one finds a server, grabs the IP and port and then sends it to the friend via TeamSpeak/Yahoo!/MSN or whatever other tool you are using to speak/type to each other.
BF2 Autoloader is a browser like All Seeing Eye that will post your BF2 server details to MSN for your friends to see.
