How do you road kill with Ground Defense?

I just found in my stats that I have 25 road kills with Ground Defense.
I think it's realy hard to run over somone with that rocket stand.

Actually, if your on a mounted MG you can swivel and crush them between the wall and you. Try it sometime it works, it's happened to me enough.

But, it's when you kill infantry with the TOW instead of killing a vehicle. I think.

Yah, there are a few things that fall under the 'road kill' I don't quite understand. I have 7 road kills with 'ground defense', ok, but the real kicker is:

239 'road kills' while in Helos ?!?!?!??!!!!

I know I've swung the tail around a few times to get rid of a pesky C4 monkey, but not 239 times ffs....hmmmm, dunno where that many kills came from.

What if you shoot at a car and it explodes and thus kills the guy next to it. It usually say "you humvee someone" or whatever... wouldn't that be classified as a 'roadkill'?

Or when the guy trys to bail right before it blows, i think those are right.

That is correct. My gunner has more road kills than I do and he rarely is the pilot.

Not so much poor programming as poor indexing IMO.

This is really not that complicated. A "Road kill" is when you kill a vehicle. Not when you kill anything on the road. It is a vehicle kill.

This is really not that complicated. A "Road kill" is when you kill a vehicle. Not when you kill anything on the road. It is a vehicle kill.

That's incorrect...I have 54 'road kills' in the jet but 628 kills. I'm pretty sure that's not 54 vehicles destroyed..

I think a road kill is killing someone by physically using your vehicle. For example, it's SUPPOSED to only be about running people over, right? But colliding/crashing into someone with a chopper/jet would count as a road kill too, and you're physically killing them with your vehicle.

It would also explain why only vehicles have 'road kill' stats. AT rockets and C4 would get 'road kills' if it meant 'killing a vehicle'.

Dunno about ground defense road kills though...perhaps there's something obscure I haven't thought of that counts as ground defense.

A road kill is when you blow up a vehicle and the explosion kills someone so you indirectly kill someone.

I think running people over would count as well, i'm not sure.

Basically it is when it says ##### [killed] ##### rather than the vehicle you are in eg ##### [DPV] ####.
