HELP :Installing SF Expansion

Sorry if it's appeared here already :

Thought you'd all like to know that the system specs for BF2 Special Forces have been confirmed as being the same as Battlefield 2 with the exception of hard drive space required. You'll need an extra 1.5GB free (plus 3GB or more free space on the Windows partition) to play this first expansion pack.

Now I've come across a couple of people who have said that they have loads of space on the drive where BF is installed and 2Gb free on windows partition yet SF seems to want to install the entire thing 4.5Gb) to C:
This was the same problem with the 1.03 patch. I really hope that they managed to fix the installer since last time but it isn't looking that way.

You have to have more then the install space on C: because it uses its own "temp" file to unpack the installer.

Its a pain in the ass, I had the same problem with the patch because I had less then enough space to unpack the patch on C. And you can't redirect where its trying to "temp" it because it doesn't use windows temp. It uses its own temp location on C:\.

Just make sure you have enough room for the whole shabang on C.
