Thought you'd all like to know that the system specs for BF2 Special Forces have been confirmed as being the same as Battlefield 2 with the exception of hard drive space required. You'll need an extra 1.5GB free (plus 3GB or more free space on the Windows partition) to play this first expansion pack.

Wow, 280MB! Looks like I'll get my money's worth out of my Fileplanet subscription.. I think I'll wait until its an official release, before I go installing it. I made the "jump the gun" mistake with 1.02, and had to reinstall BF2.

SF users need it I believe to play on BF2 servers.

AFAIK it does not come with the CD/DVD of SF and must be downloaded.

Im using getright with 4 segments, each one is getting 20k/sec, 50 minutes to go.

If you add the second link as another mirror Getright will let you up it to 5 segments and d/l @ 200kb/sec

On the small Getright window click on 'options' and on 'mirror manager'.

This opens a second window and I hit 'add', pasted the address into it and hit 'ok'

Now I can choose 5 segments instead of 4.


Just spotted that Getright 6 beta has torrent support also. When you're download your linux distro (or whatever) It'll search common public trackers for the same file and d/l from all at the same time !
