Is this ok... or is it bad ? (stealing vehicles)

I have noticed in a couple of threads today that People can get kicked for stealing an ennemy vehicle.

some servers may even have mods that will stop you from taking an ennemy vehicle.

Well... heres an undate... If I fly a chopper, molest the ennemy airbase and see they have a nice, clean, healthy, kosher helo standing there... while mine already got damage, maybe even low ammo... I wont make it back to my airfield.... hell... ill kill whatever is in the area of that chopper and TAKE IT....

I will always try to take ennemy vehicles when they have better health then my own or simply if they are stronger (such as a tank when I have an apc)

Why... well ehhhh ITS A FREAKING WAR !!!!! You play to WIN

Why should I feel... awww its the ennemy's vehicle... I shouldnt get out of my damaged tank to take his.. ?

If you don't take the enemy vehicle when it has more health then your just plain stupid. It's stupid to have rules against doing so. Like if you capture an enemy base with one of their vehicles there and take it. That means technically you're still taking their vehicle. I mean come on. DO they honestly expect us to not take enemy's vehicles?

Not to mention your abandoned chooper will crash and respawn, while you still occupy their helo denying them the chance to pound your team with it.

Just good gaming, imo... assuming your entire goal isn't to spawn, take the chopper, fly to their air field, steal chopper, and rince and repeat.

I say steal whatever you can get your hands on.
On certain maps, if you control both tanks (or both helis, or both jets, etc etc) you typically win the map.

I would rather have the biggest dumbass on my team flying the enemy's jet. Because it means that they don't get to use it against us, and that ours is free for someone who knows that mountains aren't soft and squishy. And sometimes, the 1 or 2 minutes someone can occupy an enemy asset just might be that 1 or 2 minutes your team needs to break a stalemate.

I think it's the ultimate evolution of the Spec Ops class. Sneak behind enemy territory, destroy commander assets, steal important equipment.

The only thing I don't condone about vehicle-jacking is using it as an excuse to spawn camp. If you fly/drive/fall over enemy lines and see a heli, jump in and fly it to the moon for all I care. Just don't lounge around killing people.

There are even some regulars on servers I play, that I make it a point to steal their vehicles of choice - because if I don't, they will make our entire team miserable. No better way to keep a pilot from bombing you back to the stone age than by taking his jet away.

I thimk that when they say ennemy vehikle or chooper or rincing and repleating that they are actwally refrring to steeling a vehigle such as when someone's retairing their's. Dey could also be tinking a frist come first swerve blasis while salmon might be waiting for a vehichle, chooper, or plain on the chooper pad or spown spot.

I'm not exactly sure but I'm likely pretty close.

What's more curious is that anyone could spell enemy as ennemy 5 times in a row.

I take it schools out this week.

Short and sweet, if there slow enough to get their stuff stolen then it's all good.

Yes that was completly ironic considering his own spelling was to be frank, Shít.
It was worse than mine and i don't even bother trying to spell well.

I can't see a problem with stealling enemy vehicles if they are stupid enough not to be using them then they derserve to be stolen and use by the enemy.
Then only think i do have a problem with is when people steal other people vehclies when they are repairing them, well actually i don't have a problem with that as such, more when it's my vehicle and also you notice it's only ever n00bs who do that and they always get blow up 2 seconds later wasting the vehicle.
I always steal enemy vehicles, well when i can get my hands on them, normally when i am playing china or MEC and they take the airfield and my plane is damage or out of ammo i just out over the carrier and steal one of theres.

It's a logical tactic to deny the enemy resources by consuming them for your own use. Vehicle theft will remain unless you get the reality mod or a different mod that locks out enemies.

I do it all the time. Personally, i think the only vehicle you shouldnt be able to take is the enemies jet. Why? Because if the enemy has all the jets on the map, your team will lose. Right now, really as we know the only thing that can really take out a jet is another jet. once in a while you might get lucky with the stationary AA, but otherwise...you die lol. As far as the other vehicles, there is a lot out there that can easily take them out, so far game I say

I especially like to steal a APC/TANK while a enemy engy is reparing it.. back up run them over.. or just shoot em in the face with a nice shell of FLY HOME boy

Stealing an enemy jet/helicopter can seriously mess with the balance of a game, therefor i dont do it, and dont think its ok to do so. Then again, i suppose im the kind of gamer who likes an even and fair fight where skill is the deciding factor. And not the one who weasels around with the engine best.

Hehe, Im a spec ops 99% of the time, once Ive done my bit by blowing the assets Ill steal whatever vehicle I can to retreat. If it happens to be a heli all the better. I know Id waste its potential so I steal it, fly away, then land it where some of my teammates can work their magic in it. Alls fair in love and war ..even if its only in a game:)
