Maybe I just haven't been observant in my 300+ hours of playing, but I've never seen such a large name. Anyone have any incite? Forgive me if this is old and have been discussed many times.

I have seen it before as well. usually the server admin will ban people for it, because it is truly irritating.Comment

You can make you name large by putting a similar code in your prefix. I won't post it here otherwise all the kiddies will be doing it.
The codes do not work anywhere other than ingame though so just look at his name in the points list when the round ends.Comment

Some enterp[rizing people used it in such a manner to make "Press Alt-F4 to unlock new weapon" appear in the middle of the screen (the above code plus conversation plus creative use of the blank spaces)...
It even worked on some people (which IS funny) but is annoying and a very bad thing overall...Comment

I got banned for that "§co" tag that make your name orange....and I've see that huge size names around....few nights ago a dude named "BENZENKE" or something like that was playng where I was....lots of attention,and I warned him that some admin will ban him 4 that...but he seams pretty coky(spelling?) about that....
ps: the code is "§3" for the size,BTW.....Comment

Caught this one the other night, well annoying with it too.
You actually have too alter the script to get this effect and is therefore classed as a hack. i would post a link to the instructions but am obviously not that stupid...:pComment
