As we all know, in your stats you can see your Kills and deaths with a certain weapon or vehicle .

now, as almost everybody knows, if you are running around with your weapon and get killed by a tank, the death is added to the weapon you where using.

same thing for everything, you always get the death from the weapon orvehicle you are using, not the death from what killed you.

If you ask me, this was just a mistake from dice wich offcourse they can't correct anymore because it's gone to far now, but it actualy realy sucks.

Yes, that's easily the 'most stupid mistake' in BF2. Broken AA is nothing compared to a method of recording stats, which obviously matter the most!

I agree. Who cares -- I don't even look at my stats anymore. Just play and have fun.

Yeah it does not show people true skills but like other people said ranks dont bother me anymore....... yeah right :p

I think the only reason I look at my stats anymore is to see how many kills I have globally. I'm trying to get a 2:1 K/D ratio...I'm very close to that now

of course I say that and BAM, right below this is my stats....well... I have to show off my purdy medals so nah :p lol

i dont really care cause if u look at my stats or my tracker stats it puts me to shame but on the battlefield i usually have some of the highest points in the server at the end of the round.

The weapons/vehicle stats are wrong and downright misleading, I placed some mines before driving off in a vodnik, a little while later a vehicle with 4 guys in it drove over my mine - I was credited with Vodnik kills, not mine kills. Why anyone possibly want to know what weapon they were carrying when they we killed?

This is slightly stupid, but far from the most stupid mistake in the game.

I've got a story similar to 193d DCAT..... A smoking plane flew over my head a few nights ago while I was playing with a support kit. Of course, I shot at the plane. The plane exploded, and the screen showed "XRW_Second_Gunman [F35] somebody" twice. I was credited with two aviator kills because I made the plane explode......

Yes lets all write EA and complain about this...Screw the Fed up AA and the Red team Bug, to hell with the PTK's and lack of good maps, never mind with the crappy patched. Lets get them to fix the stats.
