I hope theres a EA person around or someone who can give me an answer. I pre ordered it and pre dled it off of the ea downloader. On that it says it wont be released till tomorrow so my question is alot of people who ordered theres from eb games or gamestop will be gettin there games today becuase they also paid for over night shipping. So why arent we getting it unlocked today? i mean its only fair and the street date of release is the 21st becuase its officially released today and shipped

They may get them today but that won't be able to play it until tomorrow, like everyone else really.

Well you have to remember a lot of the time they ship them a day sooner than it says they will so that it will be there on release day and some people manage to get it a day sooner.

with the ea downloader does it mean that people from the uk can get it on the 22nd instead of the 25th?

There's also a patch that will have to be applied to enable all the content ... that's how EA will prevent any from running the software until then.

Yeah, if you have the cd now there's nothing stopping you from playing on one of the SF servers that exist (there are about 30 last time I checked) but us poor plain BF:2 players will have to wait until the patch comes out tomorrow.

Who think 's that this time tomorrow the support forum will be full of 'patching failed' posts? :)

ok yes theres a patch but it comes on the CD with SF so if you have SF before it installs it will patch the origianl bf2. I think EA should release today! :laugh:

It is a bit unfair yes, I've got SF since the 19th and I live in Europe. But there are only 3 servers so....

Its very simple,

the street date for BF2SF is tommorrow in america, just becuase "some" stores gave copies to people a day or two early changes absolutely nothing.

It was the same for HL2.

And you just cannot expect to run a buisness and haveitmake money if you panick and change your schedules for such a large game launch, just because a couple dozen people are getting a 24 hour head start..... in single player.

well im getting mine today, if theres no servers, then ill play sp and learn the maps.
