the SAS is the BEST in the game! almost every unit has a new weapon (save for the AT and sniper i think) plus the medic's gun is the same as the g36c and the support gun is not only accurate but now, support has gas (sorta like the poor man's n00b tube) too!

what i like to do is gas a bunch of enemies and then throw grenades! instant 5 or so kills w/o them firing back.

if SAS is the best equipped soldiers they're prob gonna get the most ****ty strategic spawns...or soemthing like that

It also does not mean that they have the 'best' weapons, simply that as a newly added faction they have the most new stuff...

(oddly realistic if you never see them using the SA80... )

Personally I play which ever faction the server throws me on to even up the sides and have as much fun either way...

M4 is common for SAS so is the MP5 g36k's are most for most assaults

Some people might actually want to play on the Spetz/insurgents so they can use weapons they are used to.

i'm not into remembering the gun's names but it seems all the SAS weapons are variaton of the g36c in vanilla bf2!

support is AWESOME! you have:

a better weapon (IMO)
grenades
ammo bags (for points)
tear gas!!!

it's really great when you can run around with the tear gas weapon, spot an enemy, fire gas at him, hit 8 for the gas mask, run up to him then knife him!

veteran knife, here i come!

I have yet to see a screenshot of a person with a gas mask on. I have heard about it but haven't seen it in any videos or screenshots.
