Maybe its just me but does it strike anyone as odd that there is no offical review of this expansion pack yet? For most big ticket games like this the developers always seem to get advance copies to the major reviewers before the release. I think its vary strange that we have heard nothing about this at all. Almost seems like they want to sell as many copies as they can b4 the reviews start to circle the net...

Its more likely that the major review sites weren't really trying to get a copy of the game since it isn't as big a deal as BF2 was coming out. But that's just my guess.

Dude, IGN had a HUGE review for it.

21 short clips, and a bunch of screen shots. Like 2 days ago.

Usually this is a bad sign, that the publisher doesn't want to send a review copy to the reviewers. I mean if the expansion was really good they would just get extra publicity from the good reviews.

na its just an expansion, not as big a deal as a new release such as bf2 was, anyways, IGN does have a review.

Are you joking? Game mags do that all the time...

It is positively infuriating sometimes that a great game review turns up and the release date of the game is not still for a few weeks!!

AddOns aren't as "big" releases as new games. I don't understand how you could do a proper review by playing against bots.

The following games were out before reviews...

The movies
Path of neo
Black and white 2
Fear
Farrenhiet.

And those are just the ones i played before i saw a serious review (i dont count fan made ones as they are biased)

Come to think of it i cant name many an expansion wich ive seen a review for before i played it... except Road to rome and Brood wars.

I think it will be best to wait until the reviewer sites play online and see how that goes. Its kinda hard to judge a mutliplayer game off singleplayer
