ok, im doing this for my friend, he installed bf2 today, then opened the game, created an account, then forgot to patch the game, so he just went online and download the patch, opened it, but after it sais preparing to install, it gives an error analog saying patching failed. then it sais installation complete lol. then he tries to open bf2, and it doesnt open no more, ctd. so we downloaded the patch from other servers. and none worked. then we uninstalled bf2. and reinstalled it. it worked cause we didnt patch it, so now his desperately playin thosse out of date server hosted in lagalagistan( bf2 1.0) its sad. with only the knowledge of the situation and some letters to type. wouldnt u help?:cry:

You need a LOT of hard disk space to install the patch, it doesn't take much room but needs loads for the install to work. Free up about 2 or 3 gigs, that's a common problem. -

Be sure you dont accidently stop the patching, it says "patching" for ages so some people think that its has crashed so exit it and then it buggers up..:hmm:Comment
