From the Battlefield 2 Game Guide@Gamespot:

"Since there aren't any ammo boxes in the game world anymore, you will eventually run out of ammo completely if you don't find a support soldier to fill you back up or call for supplies from your commander. Unfortunately, support soldiers don't get any grenades because of this; otherwise they'd just be able to launch grenades from cover, resupply themselves, then repeat."

What the hell is this about...?

Manuals tend to be writen before the final version of the game goes Gold to meet publishing requirements.

I suspect that an earlier build of the game ommited grenades for supply guys, but then they figgured that it really wasn't a big deal for them to have access to all those 'nades.

I believe the manual does have a disclaimer on it that things might change.

Perhaps originally they had grenade launchers? Just a thought

I wish they did have heal, ammo boxes! I don't know how many time's I have 2 bar's of health to call for medic and he's mile's away or, not having anymore AT's while an enemy tank cap's a flag. The commander actually listening to you? Well...GL with that.:laugh:

I read the manual in a spare couple of seconds I had.

Seriously, have you seen that thing? It's tiny and hardly tells you anything. :P Worst. Manual. Ever.
