Anyway to turn most of it off, i hate hearing people ask for supplies when not commander, i hate hearing most everything. I really hate hearing the commander yell at you when you are flyingout of the map. I want to be on a need to know basis, if they call for help agenst armor or somthing or spotted a enamy thats ok but if they are calling for ammo or what not i dont want to hear that.

Re: In game chatter
why? If we are in a squad the leader should hear everything while the squad follorws the leader. I think the whole chatter system needs to be reworked.Comment

You don't sound like a very team consious player.
Maybe you just didn't state your case very well, tho.Comment

Re: In game chatter
Ya I think thats it, if i get into a squad that uses the VOIP and workes as a team. Where we have every class moving as one, good things happen. I just hate all the useless chatter it destracts me from my squads goal. I like the idea of "shout" Ony people withius like 80 feet can hear you if you are yelling out a order. Then there is radio chatter for squad leaders and commander. This would be nice when you want to yell at the enamy to ****off, or yell CAMPER lol.Originally posted by WargimpThat's why.

Re: In game chatter
I find most of the requests and people spotting an asset to my squad and team.
Without the requests in chat you would have no idea who required a medic or engie to help them out, not to mention enemy spotted option.
How would you survive?
The number of times a fellow colleague has spotted a chopper or armour for us whilst capping a flag. It gives me and my team prior warning and have more often than not been able to deal with the threat.
There are some select indivduals out on the battlefield who abuse the above privelidges, and chose to spam "enemy spotted" all the time. This i agree is annoying and have learnt to ignore them.
But overall i think that communication within the game as it stands at the moment is beneficial to those who use it correctly.Comment

Re: In game chatter
I hear ya! Sometime's it does get annoying. I hate it the most when I'm trying to be stealthy. I can't hear boot's or anything else from enemy soldiers till I'm dead already. There should be an opition to toggle it on/off at least. Also toggle crouch damn!:cussing:Comment
