Re: Single shot, burst mode, Full auto?
If your weapon can switch, hit '3' again. For example, if you have your M4 selected, hitting '3' will switch to single-shot, hitting '3' again will switch back to auto. Note that not every weapon has switchable firing modes.

And note, the M16 is the ONLY weapon in BF2 that has 3 shot burst.

Oi new folks!
Check out this site for more technical info.
It'll save you from making posts asking "which is better" that the vet forums readers are sick of seeing.

Re: Single shot, burst mode, Full auto?
All on high, 6xaa, 16xaf, 1024x1280 with a good 60fps when not in a dense firefight, or running and jumping around, if i'm running around or something like that, i drop to about 30fps minimum. For hte most part it's 60fps when alking, in a small firefight etc., but it quickly drops to 30fps in some situations.Originally posted by CapnKerkEddy what max settings can you run the game at?

Re: Single shot, burst mode, Full auto?
Is there an indicator to tell you what mode you are in? With medic I switch back and forth a lot and always forget what mode I'm in.

Is that card AGP or PCI-e ? I couldnt image taking the memory that high on the card. I do have extra cooling so maybe will give it a shot. Also have about the same system as you. I run all high except text - med no AA. Was thinking maybe bringing the res down and trying to add in AA. Think its better to do this ? drop res and add AA or keep high res with no AA ?Originally posted by Eddy01741All on high, 6xaa, 16xaf, 1024x1280 with a good 60fps when not in a dense firefight, or running and jumping around, if i'm running around or something like that, i drop to about 30fps minimum. 6xaa? So you have it set to off ingame and are using your vid cards control panel settings?Originally posted by Eddy01741All on high, 6xaa, 16xaf, 1024x1280 with a good 60fps when not in a dense firefight, or running and jumping around, if i'm running around or something like that, i drop to about 30fps minimum. Re: Single shot, burst mode, Full auto?
PCI-E card, i don't need extra cooling, at load the card is 55C, at idle it's 30/31C (I put the fan to 100% all the time in ATI tool, and i also have good airflow in my case, my CPU temp is 24C and ambient is 21C, all on stock cooling). And to CapnKerk, nvidia cards don't have 6xaa, ati cards do. And i do enable it outside of BF2, it gives same quality, and better FPS. And to indecision, i would keep the resolution, as more pixels on the screen makes up for lack of AA.Originally posted by Indecisi0nIs that card AGP or PCI-e ?
