Lost Connection to server

i keep getting this message when trying to play battlefield 2 online on every server i go to, i used to be able to play, it has gradually got worse, now it happens as soon i've loaded up map and started to walk.

i've reinstalled windows twice and the game, i've updated punk buster like i found on some other sites still no luck can anyone help me please!!

Have you installed the newest drivers for all your hardware, lan adapter, chipset drivers, video and audio etc?

By latest I don't mean whatever Windows Update would find or the drivers from install CD, but finding the latest from them websites for the hardware.

Have you tried closing any non-relevant programs running in the background??

How are you connected to the Internet? Through a router or directly?

Do you have a software firewall installed? Is the Windows XP built-in firewall enabled or disabled? (if you have 3rd party fw it should be disabled)

Have you checked your antivirus software, maybe it has a network protection feature that is interfering with normal Internet operation?? Which one do you use?
