You can see the logic of it being bad to swear and ok to be in a game that simulates combat and people dying etc.
Solution super63, mute the offenders VOIP or even better play games that are more suitable for 10 year olds. Hear Hello Kitty Roller rescue is good, my 9 year old loves that
I'm sure Super Six Three swears too, I know when i was 10 me and my friends were swearing like sailors. Plus nothing expresses anger like a good old swear word.
I think that he was playing and his parents heard people swearing so they stopped him from playing the game. He has gone and got angry and blamed the ERSB. Supersixthree shouldn't be playing the game if he is 10, he hasn't even been given homework yet he doesn't deserve to play the game.
No matter what online games you play that has voice access you will get swearing and filltering it out won't stop it, most people just do it to annoy (name calling and such) it's a tactic to get you off your gaming and I will say it works with some people they concentrate more on the slanging match then the game and get killed thus getting more angry rince repeat. :)
I was kicked from the [PTG] server this morning for calling the whole team w***ers for letting the enemy take our back bases on karkand (I was commander), was kicked on a vote kick, I deserved it, but couldn't help myself been up all night and was ratty. :)
in all the posts i read here on this topic, I think I saw maybe one...possibly two posts that were positive in nature. What is it with people in this forum attacking one another in every single topic. I think my post is the first one that actually comments on what they siad. They bring up a valid point, there is strong language in the game, though it is produced by the players and not the game itself. The game isn't rated mature because there is no blood or gore, and the cussing comes from the players and not the game characters. The game itself has to have either blood/gore, language, sexual themes, intence violence, use of drugs, use of alcohol, and so on, for it to be rated mature. BF2 doesn't, so it slips by with a rating of Teen.
