Ok, the installation ran through perfectly, splash screen comes up, then goes back to desktop, what should I do?

I tried uninstalling it but it was unsuccessful and I tryed installing it from the disc and yet didn't work, help I don't know what to do.

Well its not my comp its my dad's, his ram and everything is good I mean he builds his computer over the limit, but I don't see why it won't work.

I heard that a DVD/CD thing might interfere in it, is this true?

well idk, my game not working eather and i dont have a cd/dvd drive. Im using a 52x cd drive. But im starting to see how strict this game is on bideo cards and system requirments..not any procceser is going to work, and smae gos with ram. A few top of the line video cards dont work for this game.

heh, my dad had 512mb ram, Nvidia 6600 video card and everything and he only has a DVD player, DVD/CD RW but it installs right, and not working, and now not uninstalling, that makes me mad and so does my dad.

have u updated drivers? Have you got any spyware or viruses on the comp?

Use adaware and spybot to check.

1.73 GHz
512 MB or RAM

but the other specs I don't know how to get to it, mind telling me how to get the rest?

Well, when u get a virus u usualy reinstall ur OP inleess its small.

hmm, I've heard so many things saying that firmware or somthing is interfereing with the game but I dunno, I tried it and it got rid of that ***** found thing but yet it still doesn't play.

okay go start>run> type "dxdiag" without the quotations.... go through it and make a list of what you have...
