Downloading Maps/Patches

I am having a problem as to where to download maps and patches. In an earlier post I seen an answer but I cannot find a file called 'levels'.

Can anyone help me with this, Cheers.

??? are you refering to the levels folder,
bf2/mods/levels this were u place the custom maps

or dont u know were to download stuff from, like maps and patches, well look in this forum and u will find lots of maps and links to patches for bf2

and i thought i didnt make sense

I'm having the same problem I think. When I download a map it says to extract it to the levels folder but I don't have one. Should I create one or are you guys talking about the 'cache' folder?

apologies, I should have been more clear!

I don't know what file to download maps and patches to so they can take effect?

For maps you must extract them to (in this example I will use the C drive however it could be another letter) C:/Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield 2/Mods/Bf2/Levels

For patches they are usually just installers that you just click open and then ok alot.

Okay, so is the 'levels' folder all ready there or do I have to create it?

The problem is I don't have a folder called levels!

Like the previous post, where do we go from here?

ok well have u bf2 installed, if u have u will then have a folder called levels.

go to were you have put the game, ie the hard drive, and look for program files files then you will see a folder called ea games open that folder, then o[en your battlefield 2 folder then look for a folder called mods, open that then open another folder called bf2/ u should see a number of folders in here, so look for the folder called levels, and thats were the maps go
