Jet Bombing help

ive been having trouble trying to drop bombs, i dont know when to drop them, i always end up dropping them to earily or to late, any tips on how to do it right would help.

I'm not too sure myself, basically you just need to get used to the feel of the jet, each jet is a bit different. So once you get the hang of bombing, you should have a pretty idea of when to release.

Yea, it is always changing, what you should do is, pick a place you want to hit, drop the bombs and press F11 (or your look behind key) and see where the landed, then next time adjust when you let them go, then when you have that ok, try at different altitudes and speeds.

usualy you need to dive toward the target and make sure it is located above the arc in the buttom of the monitor (cannot find a better way to describe it!). then when you get close enough drop the bomb.

maybe the better pilots can say something better,

Grab the vid, Plane Whore from here ! should help your style some, I dont fly a plane/jet..ermm bar into the wall/mountain/water but its been an eye open to many people I know. Props to whoever made it (I forget sorry)

There are many more ways to drop bombs, but this should be accurate enough to wreck some havoc on the ground. :)

You could try changing your view of your jet, I've manged to pull it off but after you deply do not change direction quickly, I've seen this done and it bombs fall in the wrong direction. Yep, try using a video, changing your view, keep trying until you get it right. If you manage to pull it off, you could get what I've seen 3 kills per dump. Hence why everyone tries to plane whore. Jets do serious damage, especially if theres one spawn left. Best place to try bombing would be wake island.

There is an absolute easy way to bomb air to ground with no trouble, and this game shouldnt be in the hands of n00bs like above posted ^^, without me giving out a lot of secrets, the only thing I want to tell you is to learn your hud, altitude, speeds and horizon. Once you practiced bombing at a particular speed/height and a good feeling when to drop the bombs. I get tired of reading about ****ing n00bs that they dont know how to do something, and then turn over to the forums and start begging for spoon feeding somehow, as long as they have the least effort in achieving something they are successful, thats why they are called n00bs right Acentric?

FORGET EVERY METHOD OR TACTIC YOU'VE EVER READ ABOUT

It all comes down to getting a feel for it... The end...

(especially forget about the 'advice' some people give that say tou should hit your target an a 70 degree angle... Learn to bomb while flying straight, and once you've mastered that add a slight dive into your routine. The only 'tip' that really works is switching to the front-chase camera immediately after dropping your bombs, it allows you to see where they've landed so you can correct that in your next run).

You really don't good pilot can fly at any height at any speed and the bomb will hit within about 5 meters of the target.

The simplest most accuarate way to bomb is to go up to about 300-400 and then come down on the target at about 70 degrees, and drop the bombs when the target is about an inch below the gun cross hair, this is time consuming though and a bitch to do if i'm honist, but its almost a garrented hit as you don't have to account for speed or height very much, the only time i personnaly would do it this way is if there is a guy pointing out enemy armour at a remote base and he wants back up, as then i will ahve the time to gain the height to hit both bombs on it.
Personnaly speaking i can just fly over and can hit the target but thats just due to the amount of time i ahve had in a plane.

Only tips I have as a semi noob pilot..

Bombing in a fighter..you better be trying to take out other jets first..please dont be a bomber want to be in a fighter while your teams gettign raped by other teams jets.

Dive bombing, highly accurate..dive straight down (70deg.) release. Flying stright and bombing, release much earlier then you think you have to.
Biggest trick to bombing Ive found is timing, 99% of the time people release late, figure for momentum and such, the when you release your bombs they dont fall stright down, they still travel forward. Youll bombing will increase in kills 10 fold by just releasing earlier then you think you should, and 99% of the time if ya release to early youll usually get some type of dmg assist cause youll cause more dmg by brushing some dmg across the front of opposing forces vehicles then totaly over bombing.

Last topic off hand, but god for the all that is holy..pilots...DONT FLY WITH HEATSEEKERS ON!! Switch to heat seekers at kill moment. All your doing is giving away position to opposing pilots when your a mile away and your setting off the missle warnings. Pummel them with machien guns till that second were your close enough and there flying stright then quickly switch to Missles and release rapid fast, most times when they go to re-arm at air feild is the best time imo.
