    Problem

I seem to get a problem with Battlefield 2 on servers usually 64 player servers, where e.g if im in a jet and im flying it will freeze then stay in one frame, then 5 seconds later it says im killed, the jet is in pieces in the mountains?

Its not lag because my ping was like under 50 and this seems to happen alot hence the reason im making this thread.

It happens on helicopters too and even if your running on land this freezy jittery trippy problem.

Could it be a problem with the memory?

What are the specs of your PC??

Most ppl forget to play on 64 servers you have to have T1/Lan connection AND a high end system.

    This from readme.txt:

    - JOINING MULTIPLAYER GAMES:
To get the best performance on your computer we recommend
    you follow these guidelines:

    HARDWARE
Minimum system - Join servers that have up to 16 players

Recommended systems - Join servers that have up to 32 players

High end systems - Join servers that have up to 64 players

    BANDWIDTH
ISDN users - Join games with a maximum of 16 players.

ADSL/Cable users - Join games with a maximum of 32 players.

T1/LAN users - Join games with a maximum of 64 players.
T1 is 1.5 Mbps and High End is anyones guess. Without knowing your specs it is hard to say if your PC specs might be the problem.
I get these pauses sometimes, don't recall if they are mostly on 64 man servers. I have a high-end PC but only 1024/256 so my connection isn't T1.

I'm thinking it's your PC, what are your specs? Mine does it a little bit, but no problem.

        Okay here is specs.

        Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.44GHz (2CPUS)
        Nvidia Geforce 6600 256mb
        1024mb of RAM (PC3200)

        and, 10MB internet speed.

6600 would be the bottleneck in your system, that is low-end gfx card and holding your system back, but that doesn't mean that it is the problem.

By two CPUs you mean HyperThreading right?? HyperThreading isn't going to help you in games, and in some it might even create performance problems. You can try disabling it and see it makes any difference.

You can disable it in BIOS or by having the game run on just one CPU. There aren't two CPUs, it just look like that to Windows.

For an easy way to only disable the extra 'CPU' for BF2 only, look in my post in this thread:
