I tried posting about this earlier, but I must have done something wrong, because I don't see my post anywhere. Has anyone been noticing more server disconnections lately? I have just been experiencing this in the last week or so, and I'm running on a fresh install of Windows XP and Battlefield 2. It seems to happen a lot if a server switches maps. Somewhere in between I "lose my connection" and then the browser won't let me connect to any other servers either until I either reboot or restart the game.
I'm thoroughly convinced that this is not happening on my end. I'm not asking for help on how to check things out on my PC; I'm a complete computer dork and know how to do all that. I just want to know if anyone has been getting disconnected more often lately. It seems to have started happening around the time that EA made the announcement about doing server maintenance to prepare for Special Forces, but maybe I'm just imagining things.
