i have a question about the zip line, how long does it shoot and does the arrow drop as it goes farther? and depending on the angle you shoot it, do you go faster slidding down?

I got it from a local store www.citydisc.ch .
And for the damage file thing, you have to be much more specific because inside that zip file there are many folders/files.

they sound diferent (specially if you have the cockpit on) and they feel diferent when flying.

The only nade launcher on that map is for the gas nades.
(oh man, i see ill get gased very often :laugh: ...you never notice when someone has thrown one)

I cant tell that...because i cant join other servers. When you install BF2 SF it will patch it...so for now i have diferent version.

G36K = Auto / Burst
G36E = Burst / Single
MG36 = Auto / Burst

about the MG36 damage, its quite high but the accuracy its not.
Good for short ranges in prone position, for long ranges you will have problems hitting something.

About the HIND, it cannot transport troops.

The crossbow looks a nice tool specially because there is so many high buildings that you can.
THe hook/zipline can be throw pretty high, about 2-3 floors.
Both can be re-used. (if you dont recover them, you cant use it anymore)

Seems they changed the Tunguska too...like new sound and a damn radar antena infront of you when looking horizontally (i dont remember any antenna bothering me in the normal BF2)....im still quite satisfied.

The night vision while flying looks diferent from when you are on foot.

I'm curious about the gas masks though. Maybe this has been answered before, but is there a penalty or max. time for wearing the gas mask? I mean if you think everyone will be throwing gas grenades all the time, why not just keep the mask on the entire time playing? Do only certain kits have NV and/or gas masks as well?

I don't think you can sprint when wearing the gas mask, plus the view is a little restricted.

Big thanks to Krpano for taking the time to make us all those screenies and give us all this information. He has the game and could be playing (even if its just SP) but instead he's taken the time to answer our questions and give us good screen shots.

I'm expecting the SAS to sound like D1ck Van Dyke in Mary Poppins... In game British voices done by Americans/Canadians etc usually do... It'll be a pleasant surprise if they're proper British accents.

Yep, I just noticed the post, soz. You beat me to it, I was gonna edit.... It's a pity, although I suppose a Hind with a squad onboard would upset people more than the Blackhawk.
