A little help please people...
I've been playing since the game first came out and have noticed a significant decrease in performance since.
If i use high settings i get about 10 minutes of super smooth lovelyness then it all starts to go horribly wrong. It's the graphics lag issue that a lot of 6800 owners seem to experience, and i'm just wondering if anyone's found a solution.
It doesn't relate to the busyness of a scene, i can be in a close-quartes firefight with a load of people without any problems yet i can be stood at the edge of the map looking into the wilderness and the game will almost grind to a halt. It's very random and oh-so bloody annoying.
It only affects bf, other (lesser) on/offline games work fine and i can play q4 with everything maxed without any problems whatsoever.
So i'm playing on medium settings and it's ok but it seems a waste, my comp isn't exactly cutting edge but more than up to the job, hence the frustration, so i thought i'd ask one group of people who might have an answer!
Before anyone flames about searching the forums or repeat posts try searching for Graphics/lag or 6800, many many posts.
