    Question for 9600 pro users

Hi, ive been having problems with my Radeon 9600 pro. I know its not the newest card but even on the lowest settings it keeps giving me the same issue.
Whenever there is some kind of big impact on my screen, for example when I try to fire a rocket launcher, my screen freezes for 2 seconds or so and after that resumes functioning as if nothing happened. This tends to happen alot and gets me killed very often.

    My system specs:
    P4 2.8, 512 mb, radeon 9600 pro 128 mb.

Does anyone know how this problem can be solved, I installed the newest drivers and am still getting the same problem.

    *edit*
Forgot to mention that in the case of firing a rocket launcher it doesnt *always* happen, it probably occurs 1/3 of the time. It also happens alot when in a vehicle.

I know, however most of the time I have no problems on the lowest settings with these specs, however during the given examples my screen just stalls completely but right before that happens the framerate is fine.

What would be the main concern here? Whats causing this stall, would that be my ram or vid card?

Have you tried altering your PCI latency for your gfx card and sound card, e.g. change them to 64.
