What program is used to model Jets?

Im just wondering what program do all those good mods like POE, FH2,Shattered Faith, etc, use to model their planes.
I wana try it out.

the same program they use to model everything else - 3ds

- the trick about making a jet is making it so it has a realistic number of moving parts tht get scripted into animations - aeroloins, elevators, flaps, landing gear,
this way it doesnt look like a flying plastic model when in air...

Some people use Maya, or other programs, then port it to max.

Get gmax and that will get you started for free.

Speaking of Gmax, any site with good tutorials? I can virtually do anything 3D with SolidWorks, Pro Engineer and Solidedge, but with Gmax..woah, I can only do a cube... Gmax is so different than the aboves programs, different way of thinking I guess...

I useLIGHTWAVE 8.2 Rhino and AutoCaDD 2005, ITS BETTER THEN 3DSM AND MAYA, but not XSI whitch is the BOMB!!
