I bet you paid 1.5-2x more than you had to.....

No i didn't, i mean, i ogt this pc a year ago and it is still ripping through the games like butter. I paid like $250-300 for the graphics card. Remember i got it a year ago. i didn't get it neccesarily for games but it does that well too. I have Media Center Edition 2005 with a whole bunch of great stuff. Suprisingly, for last year, it is not overpriced.

That's on my P4 3.4GHz, 2GB RAM and GeForce 7800GTX
I run on everything on highest, 1920x1440 resolution and AA on 4x

u tellin me that a X2 4200+ and a 7800GTX will look like that........if yes I am so happy i bought my rig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:) :cry: got to love it

Settings maxed except for shadows medium. 2xaa. I can max out settings with 4xaa but on 64 player servers things can slow down a little when the battles get intense, so I leave the settings as they are.

Embarrassing moment No#24

Since this is the first time I have really played SP I got a surprise that the AI will match your weapon when in a close fire fight. I had my knife out and the AI somehow knifed me, to my horror a nice medic revived me over and over again. I was being knife/revived by the AI. I couldn’t stop laughing as even the bots care about points.

The green vertical bar is the load balancing thing that you can enable on the sli tab of the driver. Its visable during gameplay but I don't notice it.

The only problem I get is a drop in frame rate when a tank passes or the helo takes offoff

I'm running 4x AA at 1280x720 (widescreen) all settings on medium except terrain, texture, and geometry are all on high. I think 1280x720 makes a huge difference

The only screenshot I ever took of BF2 was when I was on a Knife/Pistol Only Server a couple months ago (at that time, the knife/pitol only servers weren't considered a bad thing so need to flame)



I normally play on 1280x1024 but phtobucket reduced the image to 1024x768, thats why it looks a little pixely.

what's up with those nasty pixelated 8bit nintendo shadows?

I was curious about that as well and apparently it has something to do with the NVidia chipset (not that I have any idea what the hell that means)...
