Ah, finally I found out how to stop the reload of the damn DAO-12. I usually have to find some ncie cover, or reload after killing evevry guy. Thanks Black Duck. And by the way, I am the sort of AT guy who does not get in vehicles and gets a gold medal. I just got the Veteran AT-Combat today. Played in Sharqi and DAO all the way!

Good playing! hopefully I will play either with you or against you one day! I got the veteran one long time ago because I almost execlusivle play AT. I recently play spec ops as well. but every time I play something other than AT I go back to it. nothing more enjoyable than playing AT. I just wish I have couple of hand grenades in that kit.

This MIGHT be a bug in the MP5 .tweak file. It has a delayToUse of 0.5 which is even smaller than the pistols' 0.75. The Chinese Type 85 is 1.1 and MEC has no value so it's taking some default. But maybe not; the Chinese pump shotgun is only 0.7. I'm pretty sure that's the delay when switching to that weapon.

I bound NextWeapon to Mouse4, and WeaponSlot3 to Mouse5. It enables me to quickly change back to my main gun at any time, especially while moving, but also quickly cycle through everything with greater precision than the mousewheel.

I like that, I have the nostromo 52 w/ a few select weapon keys like main rifle and kits (5 & 6). Next weapon would be more handy, gonna try it.

Don't get the point of the post, you hit a number and whalla you have that weapon. Like every other game out there, sounds like hes a mouse roll and click kinda guy.

just a while ago i was playing and i happened to sneak up on an AT guy. he shot his rocket at me but missed. the really funny thing is how fast he recovered from firing a rocket and shooting his MP5 at me. his gun came out firing as soon as his rocket left the launcher!!! sounds like us BF2 players have a new annoyance to deal with...

After thinking about it, then testing it, I suspect he might have found a real bug. Most weapons seem to have a little built in delay before you can actually fire 'em. But sure enough, if you fire off an AT round and filp to your MP5, you can blaze away with no pause.
Switching to it while holding the AT launcher and NOT firing a shot causes a minor delay before you can shoot.

The thread is legit... if a little oddly titled.

wargimp went in the game and tested it out. why don't all you complainers go and play the game and try it out before you come in here and start bitching.
