If you're a sniper, I would go with the L85 as it has a sweet scope. But the G36C is also OK at sniping, and much better than the L85 at close range.

As yu can see, the L85 is clearly not very accurate. SInce you said PKM vs. L85, i would have to say the PKM is better. I never use the L85, i use the M16 more. The PKM i always use, very good at defending spawn points, and the damage is crazy (equivelent of the damage of a semi-auto snipa rifle). The only thing i warn u is, that contrary to the M249, it's not too good at close range, why, because it has a SLOW rate of fire (450rpm vs. 900 rpm on a saw, that's a big difference). SO it's bullets do a lot of damage, but it can't spray bullets out fast. I can't tell u how many times i've been killed by a G36C at point blank. I reccomend PKM.
