Next Unlock..?

alright, as of now, i have the M95, G3, and the G36C, and i am happy with all of them (even though i rarely use the G3).

but, out of the left over, i'm not so sure im going to want the engineer (DAO-12) or antitank (jackhammer) weapons.

so i think my next unlock,i will decide between the PKM and the L85A1.

now there are pros and cons to both of these i have heard. the PKM is VERY unaccurate unless you are prone, use iron sights, and shoot in tiny burts. and everyone says the L85A1 sucks, but i hear some people saying that it only takes like 5 shots to kill someone. most people hate the sound (sounds very weak, like a light "pop" (pistol) type of noise). i think it might be useful fo medium to long range (single shot).

well im not so sure what to pick...

i play sniper ALOT. like i got the game about 3 weeks ago and i almost have the expert sniper. i like to sit back and snipe, and go into the action with my G36C too. normally the maps i play are like, Wake, Sharqi, and karkand, and that is about it... mashtuur too i guess.

i think either weapon will take a little bit to get used to.

given my situation... what should i do....?

i was kind of leaning towards that gun. i am more of a sniper/medium range type.

Ditto, L85 is very accurate, almost sniper like so you'd like that. Keep in mind what kits you play too. If you have no desire to get a ton of points healin and revivin' then maybe the PKM?

well L85A1 was my first unlock and I use Medic a lot so I wanted a better gun. it sounds like a .22 cal rifle when you shoot but it is very accurate. when I first got the gun I didn't think it was but after getting used to it I can pick enemy off from a great distance. takes me a few shots to do it but in single shot mode it fires accurately and fast. So far its my second fav gun. G36C is my fav.

I'd go AT's DAO especially since in CQB it is devastating, and you can kill those pesky tanks from a distance.

Ive not found that i've found it to be very inaccurate in fact id say less accurate than the assault m16.

If you want accuracy that actually is accurate the g36c is the only way to go.

He already has that go for the L85 although I read somewhere that its most inaccurate rifle, the scope is good, and I find it accurate on semi anyway.

L85 isn't that great of a gun, its damage is the weakest of the assault rifles and it's deviation-per-shot is also pretty high. I just don't think it's a good gun. But if you play sniper alot you might like it's single-shot mode, just expect to die a lot in close quarters.

I'm not sure but I think it will be the L85A1 because of its sheer accuracy.

PKM... once you learn how to use it, you mow them mother****ers down... Having said that, the l85A1 is the only unlock i dont have...
