to get an enemy jet to drop their flares much quicker than usual, keep pressing F to cycle between bombs and missles while you are close enough to get a lock on. this will cause the enemy to hear that annoying warning buzzer start and stop over and over which makes them think they just entered the hornets nest!

if your on the other end of it when someone is locking on to you, don't ever drop your flares until the missile launched buzzer comes on.

Psh..............that wouldn't make me drop any flares, it would just make me think the pilot or guy on the stinger couldn't aim for ****.

well you're just one out of thousands of pilots out there. i've gotten plenty of jet whores to drop their flares like this.

Ill re-phrase that setence for you, "you have got thousands of n00bs to drop there flares like this", flares are completly irrelevent i barly use them at all.

Lock and relock is compltely useless, when you meet a noob they will drop it right away anyway, when you meet a good pilot they proberbly killed you already since you are a noob yourself for using the tactic.

Missiles aren't good for ****, the only thing you need to do in a dogfight is to tear the enemy apart with your trusty 20/30mm.

i like the psychological aspect of locking on to people though. hearing that lock on warning blaring constantly is incredibly annoying. whenever i get into stingers, igla's etc i just keep locked onto pilots to deny them access to my base.

Missles are only good to stop enemy planes from attacking your vehicles and carrier, as soon as they go towards them you lock on and fire, then they either get shoot down or don't get to attack the target, or if your me you attack the target and don't get shot down.
