Seriously . . .
Why is 99% of this forum complaining about the SF released. Stop bitching. You all know you're going to buy the game, and you all know it WILL be helluva fun to play.
EA said there would be close quarter battels. There are.
EA said there would be night maps. There are.
EA said there would be new maps (for that matter). There are.
EA said there would be new weapons. There are.
EA said there would be new vehicles. There are.
EA said it would be released in November It will be.
The stats will cross over, both ways. I'd consider that a huge plus for many.
From the IGN review, the game will feature intense battles. Sure, some of these features SHOULD have been in BF2, but EA wanted to do what they should do, act like a business.
True, EA has a lot of work with bugs in BF2, but surely they will be addressed. BF2 support has not been ended.
This expansion WILL be a fun experience playing. It WILL make the BF2 series stronger.
There should be a lot less "whoring" in this expansion than in BF2, for the simple fact that Armor is limited, Jets are gone, Choppers are limited. It will be a helluva lot more fun setting traps on those zip lines/grapel hooks. It will be interesting fighting interior battles.
Simply put, the expansion WILL be worth the 30 dollars, at least a helluva lot more than RtR. Not to mention, you may find a nice sale price on Black Friday, though it may be to close of a release for it.
I'm not saying go out and buy the game on the 22nd. Hell, wait for it to hit most of the online retailers and get a nice deal on it, but jesus, stop bitching and ripping apart the game.
Did you play it? Didn't think so. From what the IGN article reads, it will be worth the small amounts of cash it costs.
So stop spamming the forums every 3 minutes on complaints. I nor any of the mature members want to hear it. When the game comes out, if it blows, flame away. Until then, go play yourself some BF2 and wait for the TRUE criticism of how the game plays.
Now, can we get on with constructive posts about the Exp?
