Rank Not Being Earned Solution

For those of you who have played the BF2 Demo before buying the game, if you create an online account on it, and then buy the game, and retrieve it, from what I can tell, you won't earn rank. I had mine for 3 weeks and never gained any stats. However, Once I made my new clan name, I began to gain stats. Just a heads up for the new guys out there, don't use the same account, or at least be willing to change names.

I used my demo account and have been getting stats from day one.

Same here.

Account created in the demo, played a bit, bought the full game and retrived my demo account, continued to play and am now Master Sgt with 23k points.
Never had any delays with stats other than the generic Gamespy maintenance cycles.
