Game Freezing

Bf2 keeps freezing for me, so i have to restart my computer.
How can i fix this?

"Page File: 276MB used, 2184MB available". Your page file is too large. It should be no more then 2.5x your physical RAM. Which in your case is 1GB. So 1024*2.5= 2560.
To fix this:
Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintanance > System > Advanced > Unter Performance click Settings > Advanced > Under Virtual Memory hit Change > On your C: drive select "custom size" and enter 2560 for both minumum and maximum values. Hit Set. Hit Apply. You will need to restart.

Next goto www.nvidia.com and download the latest drivers for your video card. DO NOT INSTALL THEM.

Next goto www.drivercleaner.net and download DriverCleaner 3 Pro. Once you have downloaded it, install it.

Next goto Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall your old graphics drivers and any control center they may have come with.

Now restart the computer. Hit F8 after the POST screen (or logo screen). This should bring up a menu. Select Safe Mode (very top selection). Once you have logged in, cancel the XP hardware install and run DriverCleaner 3 Pro and clean "nVidia".

Once you have done this reboot normally and install the new drivers.

Once again goto www.nvidia.com and download the latest FORCEWARE drivers for your motherboard. Repeat the same process with the driver install we just did for your graphics card, but this time substitute that with motherboard drivers. MAKE SURE NOT TO UNINSTALL YOUR GRAPHICS DRIVERS BUT YOUR MOTHERBOARD DRIVERS INSTEAD!!

The onboard sound is kind of a killer for BF2. You may want to consider picking up an Audigy2 ZS. But for now you will have to use lower sound settings in-game.
