Odd problem. (screenshot)

Been playing fine for months now. A couple days ago, after connecting to a server, and pressing join game, I get this screen that doesnt let me esc out, join a team, move the mouse, yet I can still see things moving and the text of people dying. It just hangs there, i can get into console to exit out, but nothing works, it just hangs there, with the teams at 0 - 0.

I have searched for this problem, only thing relativly close was because his controls were erased. My controls are fine, so please anyone know what the hell is going on?

Start BF2, go into Options -> Controls and apply the default controls, that usually fixes this.

Then try deleting all folders below this folder: ..\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\

This deletes all your profiles and starts BF2 with the default setttings. You can retrieve your BF2 account login in the logon screen -> Manage Accounts -> Retrieve. Then you have to setup video, audio and keyboard settings and BF2 general settings up again.

Have you tried uninstalling an reinstalling BF2??

If no one comes with an obvious fix to your problem try troublehooting yourself. The first thing I would do at least when I come to a dead end is to uninstall and reinstall.

Be thankful that this guy helped you out as much as he has, I can't help you, therefore I thought it pointless to post that I couldn't I would be accused of spamming and you'd probably dislike it if there was hundreds of posts saying that people couldn't help you.

I believe the number is in the back of the manual if you still have it.

just waited for about 5 mins and it suddenly joined..

I left it sitting for an hour, came back... the kit chooser came up, but i still couldnt do anything.

Its not that im not thankful for that guys help. But im not an idiot, i had allready dont everything he suggested.

So basically noone here can help. I lost my manual so im screwed. THANKS EA! THANKS ALOT....

Resetting controls to default has worked for every case of this I've seen.
