I know that only the spec ops and sniper gets the zipline and that the assault and a-t gets the hook, but can all classes uses them once they are deployed?

Yes, just like the fact that you can press 'G' to pick up someone elses kit and use their unlocks.

One of the few good new features of the game is the zip line IMHO hopefully you will be able to disable it after you have used it, or failing that just put a claymore at the top of it once you have deployed it but before you slide down.

hehe, that should be quite funny, if you stick one at the end of the zip - they get touchdown and then are blown to bits.

That is actually a good point, and you won't even see it till its to late to stop so your be completly screwed, though you would probbaly get alot of TK's doing it that way.

They work like the mortar in vietnam, once deployed anyone can use but you only have one so if you dont pick it up it disapears after a time and if you left yours somewhere you can steal an enemy one, hmm even when hes using it.

As its said people will just fall off if you take a zipline or grapling hook from under them.

I like the fact that you can pick up a zipline/hook while it's actually in use, thus derailing the passengers...

If everyone still has a parachute, why would you need the zip line at all? Just use the grappling hook and base-jump.

Remember you can't use the zip line on anything of equal or greater height.

Zip line allows you to travel from a higher rooftop across a large distance to a slightly lower one, which is far better than the 'chute.
