Komende dinsdag, 22 november, komt een nieuwe BF2 patch uit. Deze patch fixt enkele kleine bugs en zorgt ervoor dat BF2 en de uitbreiding BF2 Special Forces van dezelfde serverversie gebruik kunnen maken.

Het zal op Ranked servers niet mogelijk zijn de BF2 en BF2 Special Forces mappen in dezelfde maplist te zetten. Uiteraard kan er wel eenvoudig gewisseld worden tussen de originele game en de uitbreiding.

De patch zal vanzelfsprekend te downloaden zijn vanaf battlefield2.nl en http://www.i3d.nl/files/!

Update:

Patch 1.12 heeft slechts enkele bugfixes en is primair bedoeld om de standaard BF2 installatie voor te bereiden op BF2: Special Forces. Wat veranderd er in deze patch:

*
BF2 crasht niet meer als een speler van wapen verwisselt mét het muiswiel terwijl hij vliegt in een bommenwerper
*
Tijdens de single-player missies krijg je nu het plaatje van de map te zien
*
Je kan in de BF2 HQ nu ook de onderscheidingen van BF2: Special Forces uitlezen
*
Special Forces servers worden weergegeven met een groene "2" in de serverbrowser
*
Bug opgelost die een foutief schade icoon liet zien als een kapotte artillery werd gerepareerd

LET OP: Als je deze patch installeert en daarna BF2 Special Forces installeert, dan die je daarna wéér de patch te installeren. De cd's en dvd's van BF2: Special Forces bevatten namelijk een oudere versie dan deze patch!

Zoals gebruikelijk is deze patch niet backwards compatible, dus je kan na installatie niet meer spelen op servers met versie 1.03 of lager. De patch is 280 mb groot, alvast veel download plezier!

Coming Tuesday, 22 November, new BF2 patch end up. These patch fixt some small bugs and ensure that BF2 and the extension BF2 special can Forces of the same server version use. * BF2 crasht no longer if a player of weapon exchanges whereas with the muiswiel he flies in a bomber

* During single-player the missions now get you the blade of the map to see

* You can the understanding of BF2 in BF2 the HQ now also: Special reads to the end Forces

* Special Forces servers is reflected with green "2" in the server browser

* Bug solved which showed a foutief damage icoon as broken artillery were repaired

PLEASE NOTE: If you install these patch and afterwards BF2 special Forces install, then which you afterwards wéér the patch to install. The cd's and dvd's of BF2: Special Forces contains, as it happens, a version older than these patch!

Such as it is not usual these patch backwards compatible, therefore you can play after installation no longer on servers with version 1.03 or lower. The patch are 280 mb large, in advance much download pleasure!

a new bf2 patch is coming bf2 1.12!

coming tuesday 22 november, comes the new bf2 patch, this patch fixes the little bugs and lets the expension special forces and the normal bf2 game run on the same serverversion.

you won't be able to place both special forces maps and normal bf2 maps in the same maplist on a ranked server. but you can easily swicth between them.

the fixes:

bf2 won't crash anymore when a player switches guns in a bombing plane using his scroller!

single player don't need that

you can also see your awards for special forces in bfhq!

special forces servers will be shown with a green 2 in the server list

fixed the ****ed up artillery icon when the artillery is being fixed!

patch is 280 mb big and not backwards compatible!

1.03 to 1.12.. maybe they got some testers and they found that many problems that instead of giving us 1.04 through 1.11(1 patch every 6 months) they decided to pay someone to fix it right away. thus 1.12

Ah well...so the 'patch' basically does nothing yet will be 280 MB...sounds about right
